Services & Techniques

At Harmony Chiropractic, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic care to each and every patient. We have included information below about the different chiropractic services offered in our Edmond chiropractic office, but please call us at (405) 340-7667 if you have any questions!

Chiropractic Care

Dr. Harmony provides correction of spinal subluxations, or misalignments, through specific chiropractic adjustments utilizing a variety of chiropractic techniques, mostly manual or hands-on.  She also has an ArthroStim for limited instrument adjusting and a drop table.  As a chiropractor who cares about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, Dr. Harmony  has years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients get pain relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica and other related conditions originating from decreased function of the spine and nervous system. Chiropractic care can even move beyond pain relief to preventing injuries and helping achieve the body's highest potential for health and wellness by eliminating spinal subluxations which leads to restoration of proper function to the nervous system.  The body knows how to heal itself - it just needs Dr. Harmony to remove the interference!

Spinal Exercises

Dr. Harmony recommends for patients to perform specific stretches and exercises which can strengthen their muscles and ligaments and help stabilize their condition. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of their own home to help improve the effectiveness of their chiropractic care and spinal correction plan. Patients who choose to be compliant with home care recommendations get better faster and stay better longer!  We also offer additional home care recommendations, such as repetitive cervical traction and head weights for those seeking advanced spinal correction.

Lifestyle Advice

While Dr. Harmony will address each patient's specific condition with chiropractic care, we often find it helpful to "coach" our patients towards achieving a healthier lifestyle. For example, there may be certain activities that patients should avoid or do differently to prevent themselves from unintentionally aggravating their particular health challenges. The goal of including lifestyle advice with a chiropractic care plan is to help each and every patient achieve the lifestyle they desire and then be able to sustain that lifestyle. We recognize that every single patient is a unique individual, and we use our experience and expertise to help our patients strive towards optimum health and wellness.

Nutritional Counseling

What does nutrition have to do with chiropractic care? What does gasoline have to do with a vehicle?  Both are vital components for optimal performance. The goal of chiropractic care is to help patients strive towards optimum health and balance with their bodies, and as part of that goal we provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices. Nutritional counseling by Dr. Harmony can assist patients along their journey to optimal health and is provided based on individual needs.

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
